Lizbeth had a huge attitude when speaking to us and was not helpful at all when we were asking questions. The main reason for me leaving a 4 star review is the difficulty of dealing with one of the staff members at the reservation desk that helps book restaurants. Our favorites were the steakhouse (Santa Fe), French (Brasserie) and the Hibachi (Tokyo). The buffet had good food options too but the food really shined at the a la carte restaurants. There were also wild sea turtles which I had the pleasure of swimming with every day while staying here. The beach was very clean and the water was so beautiful and clear that you could see the ocean floor even when you swam out further. She told us when activities were happening, had a great energy to her and really made us feel welcome. The entertainment staff by the main pool was amazing, especially Ari. We stayed at the Oaxaca building which was a little far from the pool and beach area but was right next to the double decker bus stop which brought us to the lobby of the hotel and all other areas of the resort. This is our second time booking a trip at this at this resort and overall we had a great experience. I’m not sure if I want to be loyal to Barcelo group after all of that. I can’t understand why staff at the restaurants/cleaners/staff around the pool is so friendly and at the same time folks on check in desk and concierge are not friendly and don’t know how to talk with client. Food in the buffet was even worse than in 2021 (COVID), and can’t even be compared to our 2019 stay, which is weird cause during our stay hotel was booked by 97% (concierge shared it as a reason why I can’t have late check out) and a part of buffet wasn’t even in use. Even without this awful mistake - the process when I need to go to do a reservation each day was absolutely embarrassing and worse then all my last stays.Ĥ. And after they told us about this mistake they weren’t able to offer us another reservation. There was a time when we booked a Japanese restaurant a week! ahead and the day before we supposed to go we realized we have a check for a wrong person, we found out that concierge printed a check from someone other’s reservation and haven’t done one for us. ![]() This process isn’t user friendly at all and staff isn’t friendly also. A la cart Restaurant’s reservation process was a pain for me and our friend this time. all the people at the desk told me “we don’t have early check in at all” which making me think the company should delete this option from their website of it is not relevant.Ģ. the line is ridiculously long and slow, we’we spend 1.5 hour in the line! Here are some things that worsened our experience: I wasn’t expecting that my current stay would be worse then during COVID in 2021 but unfortunately it was. The hotel offers the most contemporary amenities like Free Parking facility, Railway Station Transfer, Car Rental, Concierge, Spa services located in the vicinity, Currency Exchange, Babysitting or Child Care, Travel counter, Complimentary Newspapers in the lobby, Breakfast services, Barbecue grills, Secretarial services, Safe deposit box at the front desk, Room service, Laundry facilities, Wireless Internet access, Medical services, Limousine service, Luggage storage, and provisions for Wedding services.It was our 3rd time in Palace, 4th time in Barcelo Maya Grand resort. The on board Meeting Rooms equipped with communication equipment serves as a perfect hall for seminars, training sessions, Conference and Meetings for all the business travellers. Situated conveniently at Sector-35B surrounded by blossoming greenery, the hotel is just 4 kilometres apart from the city railway station and 8 kilometres apart from the airport.
